Steel cut oats with Cashew Milk

Steel cut oats take a little longer to cook but they are defiantly worth it very yummy and a little more chewy and of course less processed then rolled oats these will keep you fuller for longer....you can cook in microwave or stove top instructions on packet!

I cooked mine in my Thermomix while getting ready this morning!

80 grams Steel Cut Oats

1-2 tsp coconut oil

1/4 Tsp Iodised rock salt

1 cinnamon stick

330 grams of boiling water (reduces cooking time)

Your choice of milk to add after cooked

80 grams steel cut oats add 1 tsp coconut oil and sauté for 3min 100 degrees speed 1 then

Add 1 cinnamon stick Pinch of iodised rock salt 1-2 dates and 330grams of boiling water and cook for 13-15 min 100 degrees on reverse speed 1!

Add after cooked a splash of your milk.....

I used raw cashew milk .....100 grams soaked cashews (16pp) add 500-600 mils filtered water and blend 1 min speed 9 ...drain in a nut bag if you want it smooth and creamy!
